Rising Leisure Journal

Editorial policy

Rising Leisure Journal aims to make leisure ideas clear, fair and useful without promising that one plan suits everyone. We distinguish general suggestions from facts and make careful choices about what we publish.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and use plain language to explain the basis for a piece. When information is uncertain, incomplete or likely to change, we say so rather than presenting an assumption as settled fact.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content. Accepting a collaboration does not guarantee favourable coverage.

Corrections

If a published piece contains a factual error, we review the issue and correct it when warranted. Readers can flag a possible error through the Contact page; we aim to make corrections clearly rather than quietly changing the meaning of a story.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Where an illustration could be mistaken for documentary photography or a real event, we identify its illustrative nature and do not present it as evidence.
